iPods, iPhones and Flash…..Oh My!

The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed..

Today’s mobile technology is nothing short of amazing.  The amount of information that is available at one’s fingertips, 24/7/367, is absolutely astounding.  Yet, with all the advances in mobile devices, they are still not capable of accessing flash videos through their web browsers. With the increasing amount of web-based video content, this inability leads to enormous amount of missed marketing opportunities.

Inevitably, this limitation will pass, since flash is the globally accepted codec of choice for web video, but until this change becomes available we are offering this alternative solution.

Any company that purchases a Virtual Scorecard™ package after January 1st 2009 will also receive iPod/iPhone ready VSC videos at no additional charge.  Any former clients wishing to have iPod/iPhone versions created will be offered wholesale pricing based on the time it takes to unarchive the files and run the necessary conversions.

We are suggesting that our clients use this offering  to help sell rounds of golf or seasonal memberships.  For example, “If you book a round of golf on-line before…….you will receive a free CD containing all of our Virtual Scorecard videos formatted for your iPod/iPhone”.  For those customers who purchase a seasonal membership, you could offer an iPod Touch with pre-loaded videos as an incentive.

This offering will help the golfers by allowing them to hear the tips for any  hole at any given time, even while on the course.  Off the course it will help the club by allowing your golfers to share the course during any social gathering, 24/7/365.  We are sure this will be another win win situation.
